Apples are great for skin.
Glycolic acids in apples help to exfoliate dead skin cells, reduce scarring and stimulate new cell growth. They are also loaded with antioxidants as are Almonds both of which help to fight free radicals and premature ageing.
The glycolic acid also releases oil and bacteria from pores and the skin’s surface which is why it has been so popular in skin care products.
Bananas are rich in potassium and Vitamin C helping to improve skin texture, retard acne bacteria, and helps to fight acne. Raw almond butter contains a high level of Vitamin E, a vitamin known to repair skin from sun damage, scarring and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
Yogurt helps reduce redness or irritation caused by acne or other skin issues including psoriasis, eczema, and dry skin. Orange juice is packed with Vitamin C is also a rich antioxidant to rejuvenate skin.
Flaxseed oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids to regulate the body’s oil production helping to unclog pores and clear blackheads.
